Your First Appointment

History and Examination
After reviewing your history and intake documents, Dr. Morris will perform a thorough physical examination tailored to your condition. Sometimes orthopedic, neurological or other specialized testing are needed to provide an accurate diagnosis to ensure proper care. If your condition is not one that can be helped by chiropractic care in Chatham or Pompton Lakes the proper referrals will be provided.
Report of Findings
Once your examination is complete, Dr. Morris will review and explain all of the findings pertinent to your condition. Recommended treatments will then be explained along with alternative treatment options. Please ask any questions you may have about your condition or treatment at any point during your appointment.
Treatment
If your condition is one that can benefit from conservative chiropractic care, Dr. Morris will provide treatment during your first appointment. Depending on your diagnosis, a variety of treatments may be used.
After Care
All healthcare is a partnership between the patient and the doctor. To ensure the highest quality treatment, patients are given at-home instructions to complement and increase the effectiveness of their care. Directions for hydration, exercises or stretches, and ergonomic instructions are given to each patient to improve their health as quickly as possible.
